If you plan to attend the LASA/Oceania-Asia 2025 on-site, November 19–21, 2025, be sure to check the requirements for travel and entry to Australia. 

Most people need a visa or ETA to enter Australia.

Letters to support Australian visa applications are available for individuals who have submitted a proposal for the Congress, as well as for those who are registered.

Australia offers several types of visas. To explore the full list, visit the official Visa List and use the Visa Finder tool on the Department of Home Affairs website.

Some of the requirements when applying for an Australian entry visa are:
  • You must meet the character requirements to be granted a visa and to stay in Australia.
  • You must have, or have access to, enough money to support yourself while you are in Australia.
  • Most visa applicants must meet the health requirement.
